Hot sync start from PC?

I broke the screen on my 755p and can't hot sync from the screen of the phone now. My question is is there a way to initiate the hot sync from the PC, as the screen on the phone is useless now. I just need to get all of my contacts since my last hot sync out before I get the new phone.

I have one cable that has a button on it that hasn't worked in forever and one that does not have a button that I have been using prior to the screen breaking. So whatever I do will have to be done from the PC, unfortunately.

Actually, on the off chance that I could get a good connection with my old cable, I tried it again and managed to have it stay connected long enough to get get all my info out. So...problem solved!

However, if anyone has a way to HS from the PC, it may still be useful info for someone else out there...
