In case reception

For many years I have used an innopocket magnum for my 650 (short antenna) and 750p and never noticed any really big loss in reception 'bars'.

I was wondering with the 'all' internal antenna on the 755p are metal cases completely 'out'? Is the internal antenna able to get adequate signal while encased?

It would certainly effect your service. The internal antenna in the 755 is in the top-back housing and is easily obstructed by just having your hand covering it, so obviously a metal case would cause issues, although the magnitude is debatable. I'd recommended going to a toughskin of some kind, that would cut down on interferance. If I ever get a chance I'll test a 755 in and out of a metal case and see if there is any result... but I don't think I'd advise continuing to use a metal case.

Having your hand over the back or anywhere near where the antenna is, in no way decreases reception. I have a leather case for mine, while in it I still have the same reception as outside of the holster.

With what you are talking about you will have little or no interferance to reception.

Actually, I can tell you from testing that depending on the placement of items over the antenna you can effect call performance, of course I still haven't tested the metal cases.
