Default Is there a way to turn off vibrate with the hardware switch?

    Hello
Is there a way to turn off the phone vibrate with the hardware switch? I would like the ringer + vibrate to be on with the switch set to bell mode and no vibrate or switch with the switch set to no bell mode.

    Thanks in advance!

I think the only way is under prefs, sounds and alerts. You have vibrate always, never, only when sound off or with ring. Maybe a third party app....

You can set it to off, and that will only vibrate.

You can go to pref. and set the sound to vibrate and ring, vibrate then ring, always vibrate or never vibrate.

Like was said earlier, you might try a third party app, to see if there are more options.

Yes, I realize the Preferences for Sound do not support this feature. In my Windows Mobile phone I can do: Normal (ring), Meeting (vibrate only), Slient (off everything).

Seems like the hardware switch will now allow me to switch between: ring + vibrate and off everything OR vibrate and off everything.

As for third party apps, I have no idea where to begin looking for one on this.
