This is a discussion on LED status light? within the Treo Smartphones forums; I never got a chance to physically see one before I ordered the phone...does the Verizon 755p have a led ...

    I never got a chance to physically see one before I ordered the phone...does the Verizon 755p have a led light like previous treos?

    Yes, it's just not visible unless it's flashing.

    I was wondering...I have seen a treo 700p and the one on it is visible even when it is not lit up...thanks!!

    On the front facing top is a small "hidden" LED. The LED has been cleverly blended in with the silver finish. It's still in the same spot to the left of the Palm logo, however it can only be seen it when it is actively illuminated. The LED provides notifications for alerts such as new messages and low power and lights up when the phone radio powers up and during charging.

    I knew the light was there just did not notice it was hidden. Learned something new today...cool:cool:

    Yes i love my phone treo 755p it has been 3 weeks and i have loaded so many software it is not even funny, best thing about it is, never crashed once..

    When i load any software on my Moto q it always crashes.

    Skinner might cause you a problem down the road. Make sure you properly set up Resco Backup - it will save you bunches of pain. I have mine set to do a complete backup every night at 9:45 p.m. and keep a total of 6 copies.

    i agree skinner will give you problem with splash but not skins work perfectly so i do not use splash ...

    i agree backup no need everyday until you add new app or contacts or meetings..

    The better solution is an automagical solution. We add important data, get busy, we forget, mother nature strikes and you loose your data. Hence I backup nghtly and with OnGuard Backup specific data is backed up after entry.
