    Default Memory card question please answer

    If i save an mp3 ringtone onto my memory card will I be able to play it as a ringtone? I don't want to buy the card if I wont be able to. please answer!!

    well, yes, but you have to make the .mp3 into a ringer first. There are several free apps that do this, I personally use Minitones, but there is also MusicTones. You put the application and the .mp3 files on your card and then use the program to trim the tune to 30 seconds right where you want. Then click ADD and it puts it into main memory for you as a ringer.

    If the mp3 is already 30 seconds do I have to use the other program? thank you for your answer!!

    Yes, as it makes it into a format you can use as a ringer and puts it in the proper place in main memory. If it is already 30 seconds long, then just open the program, let it find all of your tunes, checkmark the one you want and then just hit ADD. I usually then do a soft reset of the phone and then go into Preferences - Sounds and Alerts, and you should find the ringer in there.
