Mundu - Treo Forums

Anyone using Mundu on their 755p's? I installed it (I purchased Mundu 4 awhile back), but it was unsupported on the 755.
What are your experiences?

you're using Mundu? How about the bundled IM software/application on the Treo 755p? Does it not work for you?

Yes, I like some of the Mundu features better. I was a Verichat fan, and Mundu comes closest to it. I was very unhappy when Verichat bit the dust.
IM works OK, though I have trouble connecting to MSN Messenger.
Anyway, Mundu has been updated and now works on my 755.

Thanks, Ben. This version does work, though I had to wait for support to send me a new registration key. Mundu changed the way they use their keys, and you now must de-activate your old device before migrating the key to your new device. That was a problem for me, as my old device now has no service!
All seems well now. Mundu support, by the way, was efficient.

Yep and device based registration is a pain for the end user.

As for the new Sprint IM - it is proxy based and slow to say the least. I tried it, got it to work but never well.

Hi - not sure I'm following what needs to be done. I downloaded the free trial of Mundu from this site to my 755p (as I'm not a big fan of the built in IM either) but I got the same error "Not supported." I clicked Benjie's link, but I got a message that file no longer exists. How could I get Mundu to function on my phone? Thanks so much for anyone's insight.

It was changed. Go to the Mundu website and do the contact thing, ask to have a beta for the 755 sent to you. Ben
