I would like to find a program that downloads and displays my pop3 email just like any other program, but would like it to delete the copy off the server if I delete it on my handheld. That way I can receive emails as they come in and quickly sort through all the spam -- in essence becoming a spam filter for my desktop email client.

I am doing that with both snappermail and versamail (builtin 755 email client). versamail may work a little better at that.

When you setup an e-mail account in VersaMail and delete an e-mail it asks you if you want to delete the e-mail off the device only, off the server, or both. You can also set preferences to do so automatically and not to ask you over and over. Hope this helps!
