Default NOW WORKING mac os bluetooth DUN VZW

hey guys just got my 755p few hours ago, love it so far. Am trying to get my macbook to use it for bt DUN. I had it working on my shadowmite treo 650 and had heard that DUN did not need turned on for the 755 it just knows when its in use. Dont know how true that is though. Anyway I am trying to get this configured soon, I have tried my normal settings i had previously had from the 650 and even a few times have been switching the script from verizon pc xxxx / generic lan bl / verizon 1x. Even tried unchecking and checking compression and ppp echo packets etc... also i heard about usb modem but i am not sure if that was only for sprint or how it works, some said they used it some didnt so i dont want to start making negative steps toward progress already. so anyway whatever help can be provided is appreciated.

well judging by the fact that there have been several views but no responses to this post i will assume that no one knows how to do it. Well over the past days of waiting for a response on this board i have been able to configure it myself, if anyone needs any help or would like me to post a tutorial please let me know. But otherwise forget it hah anyway it works flawlessly other than it will not do texts or calls but you cant have it all!

I second that, I had it working on a 650 fine and I am expecting my new 755 in the mail any day now. I am a little apprehensive to do it in any approved way since Verizon, tricksters that they are, are very likely to charge extra for the phone-as-modem "option". A hack would be better since I hear the 755 bluetooth stack is supposed to check if the device is in DUN mode a reports the usage. Shadowmite where are you!!!! leave that hussy iPhone and come back to us, all will be forgiven!!!!

do you have usb modem installed on your treo? I just have to click usb modem on my treo and use bluetooth then just hit connect bluetooth via mac (after of course the phone has gone through bluetooth sync) and it works. I use the #777 to dial then mynumber@vzw3g.com as user name and vzw as password. I use the mobile stream CDMA script (comes with usb modem) and for ppp configuration i have both compression and echo packets unchecked, let me know if this helps

*If you dont have usb modem installed on the treo once it is installed you then need to bluetooth sync again in case it did not find access internet from phones data connection, and also you will need to do that to make sure that there is a serial port created.

**If you are wondering where to get the script for the modem it comes with USB modem.
