Default New 755p

Okay... my 755p finally got to the post office yesterday, where I'll be picking it up this afternoon. What's the best thing to do as far as the battery goes? I'm switching from the Moto Q, and with that it was recommended to power cycle the battery when you first get it. Is that recommended with this phone, also? Thank you very much.

Just plug it into the charger and wait for the light at the top to turn green, before turning it on. enjoy the 755!

allow it to fully charge.. Then run with it. You will be so much happier with this than you were with the Q!

I'm already much happier with it... and I haven't even started using it yet! Thanks a lot.

The Treo series uses batteries that love to be fed - they handle frequent charging for extended periods of time.

Hi:

Congratulations on your new toy. I believe you will find that is indicating you press and hold the 1 key to dial your voicemail (shortcut). It is not an indicator of how many VMs you have.

My suggestion on ring tones - use a ring-tone management application. This type of application means that the noise files you use live on the card, not in your device (sounds like a candy commercial). A few applications: RingCare, CallBlock and LightWav and there are bunches of more candy out there. These applications use those noise files (MP3) located normally in the /AUDIO folder on the card which means your RAM is available for other funderful things.
