Default New Treo User few questions.

Hey guys just got my first Treo (a 755p) over the weekend and I have a couple of questions.

    1) Can I stream XM or Sirius radio with my 755p?

    2) How do I send picture text messages. Everytime I go to send a picture it only gives me the option of bluetooth and email. I didnt see an attach picture option in the Messaging program either.

    Thanks for the help.

I don't do much texting, but I believe you need to use your provider's app. Check here for a list of providers and the allowed attachments on each network.

Right, who is your provider? I am with Sprint and they offer free picture mail texting, as long as you attach a photo to the text, it is free.

Go into the program Messaging on your phone, and click the Options button. Clickon New Picture Mail and it should open a fresh text screen but with a big Media icon on it that you can click on, and it will take you to your Photos & Videos program to choose something. Then just click attach and then type in your text and send.

So I called Customer Service...they tell me that the phone dosen't carry the software to support pic texting...they merged with Verizon & they have pic texting!!! I am sooooo freaking mad right now!!!!

This is soooo stupid of them. They don't even have Real Tone Juke Box (only with Crack-berry) to download. They want you to buy these 19.99 & up packages! I hate I even purchased this phone. My 15 days are up!!!!

Sounds like buyers remorse. It would appear you failed to do enough investigation into what the device could and could not do as well as what the carrier supported.

    Yes, they are stupid.

Carriers are frustrating!! You would think they would provide features that the treo is capable of performing.

I did research but on some things I just "assumed":embarassed:

Plunker, very much so!! I think Alltel customers need to complain abt this. They want you to buy this package but are limited on the features! So freaking unfair with the price you pay imo.
