    Default No Volume

So I was taking my phone out of the side case to answer a call and i dropped it. I thought shouldn't be to big of a deal I put my 700p through alot rougher falls than that and it still worked like a charm. So when i picked it up it was reseting itself, no big suprise, but then I tried to call the person back i couldn't hear anything and the speakerphone option was gone. So right now I am thinking wow I am going to take it to Sprint when the open in a couple of hours but when they gave me the 755p it was because the 700p was out of stock and I reallt like the 755p much better I hope they don't downgrade me back to the 700. So if you guys have any suggestions on how to keep me out of the Sprint store it would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea my phone still rings when I get a call or message but no sound on the power up or down.

I'm confused, which phone did you drop, the 700 or 755? It sounded for a minute there like you took it back and got a replacement? If you have insurance on your phone, then I would get it replaced.

A drop onto a hard surface could jar some of the speakers, it sounds like it hit on the top of the phone, where the ear piece is. One last resort, I would try a hard reset of the phone, if that doesn't work, get a replacement.

I dropped the 755. I went to get the 700 replaced and their warehouse doesn't have the 700's anymore so I got the 755.

oh okay, do you have the insurance on the 755? Like I said, try a hard reset as a last resort, but if it doesn't come back to life, switch it out. I am betting you'll get another 755.

On the 650's when you had the speakerphone icon gone the phone thought there was a headset plugged in. I believe volumecare had a work around that corrected this. Some stated they could wiggle a jack in the treo around and get it to work.
