Noob ? sorry! Upgrading from 700p to 755p and question about hotsync

can i name my new device the same as my 700p was and just hotsync and it all loads smoothly?

if not, should i start fresh? i have chatter and other programs as well... going to have to re-register?

Most people are able to sync between with no problems, but my honest opinion if you're able is just sync calendar, contacts, tasks (pretty much the basics) as well as your programs and do the rest manually... for most people it doesn't take too long and in my opinion it helps avoid conflicts. Hope this helps. You shouldn't have to re-register your programs they are compatible with PalmOS not individual Palm devices (for the most part).
