    Default "P" key doesn't work

I replaced the faceplate on my 755 with a new one. The phone works fine except for the P key, which is dead. Took it apart again, made sure there was no debris, still doesn't work.

I'm wondering if it has to do with the P key also being the light key. Did I forget something?

    Thanks in advance,

For what its worth, my A key was going bad. Still worked but I had to push it harder and longer than all other keys. Since I had the service and repair warranty on my account, Sprint gave a new 755p. I was thrilled.

You might pull the battery and spray the key board with contact cleaner and really work the keys in question and wipe dry...

My 755p did the same thing. The "p" key quit working. Sprint could not fix it and said something was broken so they gave me a new 755p.

OK Thanks. but once I opened it up, I'm probably screwed on warranty.

Oh well, it gives me an excuse to get a Pre. But I will miss the challenge of avoiding words with "P"s in them...
