Password Protected

I just setup my email via Versamail 3.5 and I was wondering if there was a way to prompt a password before opening up the email app. My wife and kids like to use my phone for games but I really dont want them having access to my emails and messing with them. I know I can lock the phone but I would have to give them the password to unlock it and that totally defeats the purpose. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I think there are some 3rd party apps that will let you lock down certain programs.
