  |  phone won't turn on!? "ACCESS POWERED" screen keeps flashing??? oy. my phone was freezing on me, so i decided to pop out the batter and "restart" it... i do this all the time. since i put the battery back in, the "ACCESS POWERED" screen keeps lighting up. i can't get out of it. i tried to charge it, i tried to turn the phone off by the power button, nothing seems to work... i've tried taking the battery in & out...nothing. help!

| Did you try a hard reset? You will lose everything, but it may allow Palm to boot.

| take the battery out, and push up on the 5 way toggle, as you put it back in. That's going to give it a hard reset... That will be the only way to get out of the loop you are in... That's the good news... the bad news is I had this same problem a few months back and had to have my phone replaced.
