Default phone won't turn on!? "ACCESS POWERED" screen keeps flashing???

oy.

my phone was freezing on me, so i decided to pop out the batter and "restart" it...

i do this all the time.

since i put the battery back in, the "ACCESS POWERED" screen keeps lighting up. i can't get out of it.

i tried to charge it, i tried to turn the phone off by the power button, nothing seems to work...

i've tried taking the battery in & out...nothing.

help!

Did you try a hard reset? You will lose everything, but it may allow Palm to boot.

There is not a soft reset hole on the backs of 755's.

Link to how to do resets on Palm website: http://www.palm.com/us/support/treo/...ubleshoot.html

scroll down to Hardware and System, Smartphone is looping or frozen, Break out of the loop, click on the word System Reset.

take the battery out, and push up on the 5 way toggle, as you put it back in. That's going to give it a hard reset... That will be the only way to get out of the loop you are in... That's the good news... the bad news is I had this same problem a few months back and had to have my phone replaced.
