 |  Question about a launcher? Hey, I am new to ET. I have had my first Treo 755p for around three months now. I really like the phone, but I came from a Q that you could customize the homescreen to pretty much anything you want. I have researched the different launchers out there, but haven't really found one I like. I am looking for a homescreen that displays a large digital clock display. Any recommendations would be appreciated!! Thanks for your time! |

|  There are a couple freeware sites available, that have clocks on them... Not sure if you can use it as the home screen or not, I haven't tried. That's most likely the only thing about the Q, that was acceptable, you could change things around a bit... Welcome aboard... I'm certain you are much happier with the device!

| A home screen in the true sense of the term is a screen that shows bunches of information, related/non-related or whatever it is set to do. A large display of any particular item defeats the purpose of displaying bunches of information. There are bunches of launchers out in the land of bunches that allow the user to customize as little or as much as desired. In addtion, there are bunches of applications that display time in the large. Those to look at would be MobileClock with its pop-up clock function, Butler's key guard and a couple of utilities from ToySoft.Ca and so forth. Ben
