Replacing housing

Hello All,
I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if it is hard to replace the housing on my 755. I have scratches and/or scars I want to be rid of. I saw the video on YouTube as to how to take it apart to replace the screen. However, that video does not explain if the wire that connects the speaker is soldered or not. He just removes it and reminds us to take note as to how it's connected. I am concerned that once I open the phone up I will realize it will have to be soldered and I do not know how to do that. Do I actually need the opening tool? Is there anyone out there that can help me locate a local store (I do not have the insurance) that will do it reasonably or how to do it myself efficiently? It looks pretty easy, but of course the individual on the video knows what he's doing. Let me know. Thanks!
