Reset Loop, Memory Issues, & "Phone Off"
Weird 755p goings-on this week - It started going to the reset loop everytime I tried to email a photo (never had a problem before). Then it started giving me messages about not having enough free memory for extensions. "There is not enough memory available on your device ..." (I haven't added any apps, and I even deleted all my pics.) Any idea where this sudden memory problem might be coming from? Any fixes?
Finally, the biggest problem - Today I went to send a pic, it reset on it's own and turned the phone off when it booted back up. (When I am in phone mode, it says "Phone Off.) Soft reset didn't seem to help, but maybe what I need to know how to do is turn the phone mode back on.
Any ideas? Seems like the thing went haywire all at once.
ETA - I moved Ptunes to the expansion card, and that seems to have helped, but I still wonder - Why the sudden memory issues? Especially since I didn't add any new apps or download anything.

sometimes this thing will do some funky stuff... I have been having problems with some of my keyboard on it as of late. Everytime I take it to a sprint store it works like a charm. I'd even done a hard reset a month or so ago... But that didn't help. Yesterday I took it in, they did a hard reset, and it seems thus far that it's ok.
Now I did have the loop issues last week, when I received an email attatchment. I've had it tell me there wasn't enough memory once, however I know I had plenty as well. I am not sure what I did to make it work...However, it started working again...

I had a corrupt photo causing my reset....I am wondering if you guys are in blazer and you are saving all your pages and filling up your cache?? If you have plenty of internal memory it must be ram or cache...(i think spelling is right) or I maybe way off the mark here.
I know on my work computer I will get a memory error and I reboot to clear the memory..

That sounds entirely plausible and seems right on. I'll try to figure out how to empty the cache. (Jump on in if you know how!) :laugh3:

In blazer hit menu go to advanced and you will see how to clear stuff and set stored pages memory. If you have plenty of internal memory I think you would be ble to set that pretty high. Mine is at 4mb which is probably the default..
Anyway clear it off and let us know what happens.

yes you can set it to empty the cashe at exit, which is what I do... I did have a situation where it said my memory was full... and it rebooted the device... That's why I keep it where it doesn't save it...

Thanks! I cleared the cache and cookies, and I set the stored pages setting to 4mb - it was set at 0 - so, we'll see what happens. I did get the phone back, as I said, by moving Ptunes to the memory card. Everything IS loading much faster, so we'll see how it works. Good for now, at least!
