reset on attachment download - Treo Forums

I keep trying to download a word document from an email attachment and my treo 755 keeps reseting to the palm screen after I do this...I tried taking out the battery and trying to get the attachment again, but it proceeded to reset itself once more...any idea why this is happening?

Can you normally view word documents on your Treo 755p? If not, the device doesn't have software to help it recognize .doc files. If so, then I don't know. Maybe it would have to do with the .doc file you are trying to view or with the email program?

I have had the same problem. I have not added any new programs and suddenly I have the document attachment problem. I have software that is capable of viewing the files. Can anybody help us out please?

Hi All:

If you are using Documents To Go and your Treo is resetting when you are opening a document, you may be experiencing what happened to me and many others since the Treo650 included that program. Take a look here to see if the problem matches your experiences.

If so I can tell you the DataViz Tech Tool worked for me and I haven't seen a reset since following the instructions.
