There are sites on line that have ringtones for the treo. I believe they text you a link and you download it to your phone. I believe I used to use 3gfor free.com maybe for sprint only.

I prefer to make mine with the free program minitones.

Look into either minitones or musictones... I use those to make my own.

My suggestion is to end the pain and suffering and obtain a ring-tone management application such as CallBlock, RingCare, LightWav, et cetera. Life is easier and the applications work exceedingly well.

You need to download the manual or find your manual. Syncing is not hard but the manual will help. Have you installed palm desktop to your laptop? Are you going to sync to palm desktop or to outlook? If you are just syncing to get ringtones I would get a card reader and transfer them that way.

Minitones is a free app that you can crop your mp3s and it will convert and move them to your internal memory.

You don't need Ringo... If you get musictones on your sd card, and then you pick a song that's on the sd card.
