| sd vs sdhc cards It looks like the difference in hc is for cards bigger than 2g's and sd is for 2g's and less. ????
Most cards come with an adapter but you need to be sure that your reader will read the larger capacity (sdhc) card, right??
I noticed that some cards need to be formatted and others do not??? I have always just plugged a card in the device and it has worked I.E. 650. Do name brands need to be formatted?

| That is really a tough issue. I have converted all four devices to the micro card size and 2 required reformatting and 2 did not. The Centros required the reformatting. All 4 cards are ScanDisk cards. I have an older card reader that reads with no problems, it is in such bad shape the specs are no longer visible.
The 700P and 650 did not require reformatting.
Anyway, I am pleased with the service provided by the tiny cards.

| Yep, that is right, I also refer to ZLauncher as ZLuncher on occasion. Ben

| Ben have you updated your 755p yet. (not sure if you are a sprint guy)
I am pretty sure Steve is lurking around here with another type of phone. It must have masking tape on the back of it and labeled treo...

| I am with Sprint and went to a Centro from a 700P. I wanted to go with a Windows device, but did not want to sink the money in to the 700WX with another one coming out in the future. The wife has a red Sprint Centro and has had no problems with it. I looked at the 755 and liked what I saw, but the battery life was a big concern. I use the device for hours at a time and battery life and one-handed operations are important to me. After playing with a 755p at Sprint for a while and then taking my wife's Centro to work with me, I decided on the Centro. So, I first ordered the extended battery assembly then called Sprint and ordered it. They both got here on the same day. A couple of hours with the card, an hour to tune everything up and running with no problems at all.
I think Steve had to go with Crackberry, which my wife came from a while ago - two of them.

| First time poster here...I have a 755p and noticed that I could get a Kingston 4gb micro hcsd http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...=17654#cRevSec for $14.95 after google checkout, and wanted to know if that 4 gb hcsd card would fit in my sandisk micro adapter to fit my treo 755p? I guess the quesiton is, if those adapters are generic enough to allow other manufacturers in them. This Kingston memory comes with a full size sd adapter and not the mini, but I have a Sandisk micro adapter for the mini. Hope its not too confusing. |

| I can't imagine that an adapter for something universal like a micro SD or an SD would be limited and brand-specific, however, I have not personally tried it.
Why don't you just try it if you have both? That should tell you if it works. Slap some music to the card and see if the Treo recognizes it.
