I would like to search my contacts like i did on my blackberry. I want to search by first name last name or business name. It will do the first or last name but if i have a customer name and company name loaded it will only give me the person's name and not the company. Is there something that i can do to change this. Thanks.

Not really. There is an application though that has excellent search capabilities that interfaces with other applications. The application, TakePhone (www.shsh.com & www.shsh.com/beta). The setup allows the user to specify search options and it works exceedingly well.

Don't know if the 755 is the same as the 700, but on my 700p if you hit the "function (solid black) key", then the key with the little magnifying glass, a "find" screen will come up that will allow you to search your entire device by any parameter you like, (First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Address, Street Name) etc., etc., etc., and will bring up all matching entries.

One of the coolest ways to search the Treo that I've found.

Yes, you can change that. Go to contacts. Go to options and select preferences. Go to "list by" and change it to Company, Last name.

True, but not necessary. If you search as I directed above, you can put in a "piece" of ANYTHING contained in the Contact (Street name/Number, First name, Last name, Company name, Phone, Email, litterally anything), & it will pull up ALL matching fields on the device. "Hollywood"
