Hence, my introduction to the Treo755. My concern...a lady at the Sprint store has a Treo755 and she could not stop talking about all the problems she was having with her phone, such as, powering down when sending and receiving text messages. When asked what other problems she was having, there were "too many to mention". The guys at Sprint seemed shocked and surprised and had no answers. Question is, was it her phone, the operator, or the model?
Also, I run Vista on my laptop. Should I be concerned?
thanks,
mator13(just like tamator...without the "ta") | Hello, welcome. I may be prejudiced, but I think it is an excellent upgrade. I also had a Z22 for years and carried a separate cell phone. But after I got into the treo's - well it's a whole new world. They do so much more than the combined cell phone/Z22, it is amazing. I listen to music, watch videos, internet radio, play games, get weather reports and oh yes, talk on the phone. I have had a few resets of the phone since I owned it, but I think they were software related, but I am not concerned as I use the great Resco Backup software so can easily restore my entire phone or just one application if needed. Sometimes people get duds, which may have been the case with that woman. I would highly recommend Sprint's insurance program, best $7 a month I have spent. That way you have peace of mind if you do have any problems, you get a replacement. Windows Vista just requires a different Palm Desktop; I can't speak to that as I run XP.
Good luck, I think you are making a great decision.
