Default Still can't find a wmv player :(

I guess I haven't searched enough or something but I'm still trying to figure out how to play WMV that I download from the internet browser.
I download them but since they're wmv they wont play.

I installed the TCPMP thingy or whatever you guys call it but it doesnt work either..so

Can someone tell me which program I could use in order to play WMV in my 755p...please.
Thank you.

Just so you know there's just one player and thats Kinoma Player 4 EX, it play's MP3's, MPEG-4, Windows Media (WMV), RTSP, and Flash Video.

But Kinoma Player 4 EX is $24.99

Actually, I believe the commercial version of TCPMP will handle WMV. They had to drop the codec from the free version due to licensing issues.

OK, I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.

I was looking around for a WMV player for my T755p and did some testing and found the Kinoma Player your best bet.....BUT I also found if your WMV is HQ it will studder and if it's a LQ WMV it will play sorta ok....... I find it better to play Mpeg 4 and AVI's on a Treo...... I posted some info about it on Treobits awhile back LOL

Hi
I'm new and not sure if this is the right place to post this but I seen "Kinoma Player" posted but don't want to buy it before I try it. I tried that other software "TCPMP" and copied over a movie or two but it didn't find them. I am so confused. I just want to be able to watch video on my phone without spending more time converting and going back and forth with stuff than the movie takes to watch at home. Any suggestions? I Have a Trio 755 and am with Sprint.
Thanks
Wendy

On a battery-powered device running at only 312 MHz, WMV files need to be around 320x240 and under around 400 kbps to work best.

If you have WMV files created primarily for PC playback, you can optimize them for your device with Kinoma Producer or similar tools.
