Treo 755 cannot find the search feature

Hello guys--
I have been using Palm for 8 years, just got my 1st smartphone last week. I cannot seem to find the " Search " feature. I used it all the time with my old Palm. I have read about the " find " feature but cannot seem to get it to do what I want. For instance, I could type in an address and my old palm would search the entire palm and direct me to the contact w/ the address I needed. I cannot access this w/ my treo and I am lost because I have a zillion contacts, can anyone help?

I take it you have tried the search button on the lower part of the key pad. Also an application such as TakePhone has the ability to search the contacts database via its configuration.

Thanks! I figured this out after fiddling with the grey button, just discovered how to use this now. I appreciate your help. I am now trying to figure out how to use the versamail feature via hot sync. I did not purchase the data package ( mostly because I work from home and just invested in a new huge monitor ) Basically, I want to be able to compose a message on the fly and then have it sent via hot sync. I am assuming I can do this via conduit? I did it before with my old palm m 100 and then w/ my Tungsten so I know it can be done. I am enjoying my 755p, this is my first smart phone and have been using a Palm since they came out. Evryone tried to talk me out of it but I love the 3rd party apps. Thanks for your help!
