I've been with Sprint for 6 years and have two lines. I qualified for the new customer savings so I purchased a Moto Q from Best Buy for 149. I didnt like it because it didnt have all the features I wanted and was told it had. I called Sprint several times about how to access features I thought I had, like picture mail. Last Friday, June 8th, I called to tech support to get some help with the Q and very politely complained about the trouble I had been having. I told him initially wanted the 700p but opted for the Q because I thought they had the same features and it was cheaper. He told me they no longer had the 700p but had the 755. I swapped my Q for the 755 and received a $150 credit to my bill. I think I made out pretty well. I received my 755 on Monday, June 11th and I love thus far!

Default pricing

I went to the sprint store last week to get a new Treo 755p.
my 2 yr contract ran out a few months go. was told I would have to pay the full price with 75$ off
I ask if I could get the 199$ new sign on price and they told me no, but then said that in Feb of 2008 sprint was dropping the price to 199$ to anyone.
I don't want to wait till Feb 2008
called the customer service and they would not give me the 199$ price either
guess I will wait

Whew, sorry for venting.

What I would like to know is what prices you EXISTING Sprint customers are paying for your 755's, and if anyone has any suggestions for the best way to get my best deal with customer service. Any advice welcome. I really want to get my hands on the new phone before I go away for the long weekend.....

Ginnie

Just recived two 755's for $249 ea., 2100 shared min., added two $25 data plans and got unlmtd text was free. Will mail in two $100 sprint ,two $75 Kellogg rebates today. They would'nt give me SERO plan because I have a buis. account. Called back after actvation and asked for free ins. on both lines,"Got It". Just be nice and ask.
when they say no, ask for a suppervisor.

Just ordered my 755p to replace my "still in great shape" 650 (which my g/f will inherit). Got it for $200 (no rebate) from my Sprint Corporate rep.

According to all Sprint people I talked to, it should only add $10 a month to my plan to upgrade my unlimited Vision to unlimited PowerVision without having to extend my contract or change any part of my plan (and the other two phones I have on it). We'll see how that all goes down once I get the phone, but for now, I'm happy to have gotten a good price on the phone.

Will update in another thread once I get the phone and how my transition from the 650 to the 755p will be (using Entourage 2004 on my MacBook Pro).

I am a long time sprint customer and I went online to purchase the 755p. The price after a $100 rebate will be $199. I was surprised that they allowed me charge the phone to my bill.

It was pulling teeth (and over 4 months) just to get this far. Our main rep never calls us back, so he had someone else call, who has been very responsive. Unfortunately, he is over only a select number of companies.

Additional info: the price will be $199 plus a $100 mail in rebate, which will bring the total out of pocket price down to $99.

went to the shop last week and it's 500$ for the phone
but if I wait till Feb 2008 the price will drop to 199$$
do I want to wait? NO
but if your people will not contact my people (me) then looks like I will have to

Default 99 cents on e-bay

if you activate a new number

how can they offer it for free and make any money?

and to buy one and keep your same number it's almost 600$$$$

I don't understand this
