Treo 755P restarting when checking email

I'm really depressed by this. I just got my new Treo 755p and ditched my Moto Q. I updated the rom before I added anything to the phone. Now after everything is added it does this. I go to check my email and the phone just restarts every time. I did the soft reset and got the same thing. I finally did the hard reset and synced it back up. Now I can got to my email and check it,but when I delete something it restarts. I feel like taking the phone and slamming it against a wall. I had a similar problem with my old Treo 650. It used to resart sometimes when I was on the net looking at web sites. I know my Treo is wayyyy better than my Moto Q,but atleast I never had that problem.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to stop this? If the Palm OS is that bad maybe I should look into another phone. I do have a few more days where I can trade it in. Thanks for your help in advance. Oh yea I have no 3rd party software installed.

Now it's back to restarting every time I check it. I think I'm just going to return it and get a mogul. This is the second Treo I've had this kind of problem with.

This is a known problem with Versamail. Check out this article on the Palm website.

If you really like the 755, check into buying ChatterEmail to get your mail. I have used it flawlessly on both a 650 and my 755.

ok. I have been very frustrated b/c no one seems to know how to delete text messages on the palm destop. My treo 755 keeps restarting when I try to open text messages from 2 specific contacts on my address book. If I try to delete the texts from these 2 contacts, or delete ALL my text from my treo, the phone restarts. Now it even started booting all on its on, regardless.
Since no one in Advance tech support has been able to help me (if tech support knows my name and number, why cant they can me back if the phone call gets disconnected? I even asked the associate to do so as I began my last call, but the phone shut down, as I told him it would, and he has yet to call me!), I am thinking that if I can delete my texts from my desktop, do a hard reset on the phone, then hotsync , I should be fine.
Any help? This is a business line and I am loosing cash as we speak.
