| unlocking favorites buttons just got a 755p today, and I'm trying to figure out how to unlock the favorites buttons at the bottom of the phone screen. I want to move some of them around and its not letting me do it. I thought that on my old 650 you could move around any of them, but I could be mistaken (that was over a year ago)
Thanks for any help |

Thanks for any help | Well, you need to press your Options button, which is now moved down at the bottom of the keyboard at the lower right. Press this button while you are on the phone screen and scroll down to Edit Favorites Page. Then you can click on each favorite and a little screen will open where you can change or delete it. I deleted most of those favorites, except the Voicemail and Keypad ones.
Enjoy your new phone.

| when i try to move them though it says "you cannot drop this favorite here because it is occupied by a locked favorite" and it wont let me edit the favorites that are default to the phone. im guessing theres some options menu where you unlock the favorites?
btw, its an alltel 755p if that matters...i dont know if alltel decided to put a dumb lock on the phone for some reason |

| When I synced my 755p for the first time with my Mac, all my established settings from my 650 overwrote whatever the factory settings for the 755 were. Which perhaps means that you should be able to change your settings as well. I'm on Verizon, if that makes any difference. |
