How do you go about getting your video online or saving it to file from you Palm Desktop? And is it possible to make it an .avi file with a program or something, ultimately getting it on youtube?

You can move it from your card with a reader. You should be able to email the file to your computer also. Not sure about what you use a mac or a windows system but there are converters out there. Itunes has a converter in it.

The problem is I don't have a memory card or the internet feature on my phone, so emailing is out.

I don't use palm desktop anymore but I believe that sprint was the only version that synced media files. You might check into 3rd party software here at everything treo. (mac user with missing sync)

Have not seen any posts from you in awhile. Are you enjoying the treo???

miniSD cards are so affordable, I bought a 2GB SanDisk on amazon for $8. You really need a card. If you buy one soon, just put it in the phone and in the Pics & Videos program you can "Move to Card" the video. I highly suggest using the program "Card Reader" by Mobile Stream. After you install this program to you treo, all you do is hook it up to your PC and your computer sees the treo as an external hard drive. You can then just view the contents of your card (on the treo) and drag stuff onto your PC.

As for converting to .avi, I use the free StreamClip program which converts to .mp4, .avi .wmv, etc:

the treo video format is .3g2
