using Picture ID with SMS Pager

Does anyone use SMS Pager to replace the Messaging app on their 755? I downloaded a trial and it seems like a good app, it offers the option to use .jpg photos for Picture ID on incoming text messages. I have several people who I text and I have .jpg photos of them stored on my card and they appear if these people call me, but when I texted today, no one's photos shows up in the SMS Pager app. I emailed the support for the app, but didn't hear back yet.

ps. I even moved several of the images over to main memory, didn't make any difference.

Just a blind stab....Any guidelines/requirements provided regarding the photo size or resolution? Maybe it is too large or bulky? Also, is their SMS ID a part of their profile that links the picture?

As I said, just a stab by one of those dumb men since I have never used the proggie! :cool:

Hi Steve, I'm fine, how are you? :laugh3: I heard back from the developer, really quickly too. I just didn't know how to add filters to my contacts that I wanted to use a photo with - it actually is very easy. This is a great little SMS app and you can assign different alert ringers to each contact too if you want, along with a photo. It is very affordable as well.

Just an update on this program, I had to uninstall it on the second day, because the night after I purchased and installed it, when my Resco Backup tried to backup my phone, it crashed. Then I started getting regular resets on my phone on the second day. I uninstalled it and all is fine now. Too bad, as I really liked this program. :embarassed:
