I know there have been discussions of the 700p VS the 755p. I'm just curious to know if anyone else can chime in with their opinions on this subject?

I'm in the process of turning in 700p #4, and was wondering if it's worth the wait for Verizon to have the 755p?

With recent firmware upgrades to the Treo 700p, there aren't many software changes. With the Treo 755p, there is the integrated IM application which is very well done. Outside of that, most of the changes are hardware and specifically the form factor. There are minor improvements to the keyboard, the back is curved, slightly slimmer and the antenna is internalized.

Major changes? No. I do think they are welcome changes. I'm not sure if they warrant the investment and contract extension.

Chris,Thanks for the reply. Very helpful as always. I'm not at all in to, & have no use for either IM or Bluetooth. That, along with having to lock into a new contract term, as well as having to replace my SD card with a mini, has me convinced l'm probably better off just staying with a (new) 700p. Thanks again. Also keep in mind that Linux Treos are coming next year. I expect big things for the software and UI. I also wouldn't be surprised if this comes with some hardware improvements.

The last rumor was November. Again, it was a rumor, so it could be sooner.

The Linux Treo is what I am also very interested in. The WM has me interested and not interested.
