Has anyone performed the new Verizon update for the Treo 755P...seems very complicated ...what are the specific advantages. Verizon says it will make the phone more stable ...any specifics ?

i did the update and ever since i did it ,i cant hot sync any pictures.wish i didnt do it now.

Found no difference whatosever.

I tried doing it just yesterday, wish I hadn't. It erased my calendar and contacts (which for some reason hadn't been syncing to my computer) and corrupted Versamail so that I now have no AESLib file so it won't acknowledge a password. I just checked however and the update didn't even go through! Definitely do NOT recommend it.

Use the latest versamail designed for the Centro. It works fine with the 755P and will solve your problem.
