The 700 has a larger battery. The 755P is a later entry in the Treo series and does not suffer many of the problems the 700P has. I have a 700P that has been very solid. My wife has a Centro that is also stable. If battery life is not a major concern, I suggest though the 755P.

I'd go with the 755p. I have one and love it. I upgraded from the 650

You might want to check and see which version rom you have what with some of the upgrade difficulties people have had with the new rom update. See if you can get a 755 with the rom already updated Probably more stable IMHO Dont know for sure I have a 750 wm6 device.

They are both the same internally !! expect looks/physically.

Having owned a 700p in the past, and now an owner of a 755p, I can say for sure the 755p is a more attractive, feature-rich phone. The latest firmware update for the 755p claims to add stability and speed with ROM update 1.07, so to me, it just makes sense to get a newer device. They are both running Garnet OS 5.4.9. The 755p adds a Sprint-branded IM app, for AOL IM, Yahoo and MSN, which is nice for me. It also has Google Maps. The 755p also has a rubbery-grip to the back of it, which is a real plus for me...I haven't dropped it in six months. I also think the 755p has better sound, which is very important to me--the 700p had OK sound, but I had to purchase software to increase the sound...which I shouldn't have to do.

This is the best side-by-side comparison I've seen yet:

Default Get the 755p for sure!

I had the 650p, the 700p, and now the 755p. For sure the latest is the best and most stable. I actually left Verizon for a while because the 700p was so problematic with OS bugs that WERE NOT fixed with the update after a year, but with them finally getting the 755p i returned and it is stable for sure. Have gone to the Windows OS a couple times, like some of the bells and whistles, but it still cannot do things as quick and simple (and still can't compare in software options) as the Palm OS and the Treo to this day are still my favorite (tried the Tilt too, but do miss the lack of GPS). Don't make the mistake of a 700p as it does have stability problems that were reported lots, and the alleged fix did not do much for most users with the problems.

I went from the 650 to a Q.... Now I have the 755p

My advice to you, only because I know what you are up against with the Q... is Run don't walk...Run to the Sprint store, and pick up the 755p

Rest assured, you won't be unhappy!
