is your card by any chance a microSD in a miniSD adapter? Sometimes those don't sit correcty and will not read. Take out the card and re-seat it and try again. Other than that, sometimes card need to be formatted before the phone will read them, but you will lose all the info on it. I would personally try another card, they are very affordable, and put the Pocket Tunes program installer on that new card and try that in your phone. I personally use SanDisk 4GB regular miniSD and I have never had any issues
