I'm not seeing all the calls I get in the log. Yesterday it cost me big time not being able to call a dropped call. What am I not doing?

ok i have removed some programs from my phone that are third party and they are out but i am left behind with a white icon that says the name of the progrm but dosent do anything wen i prress it. how can i get rid of those white icons??
