The battery used by the 800W is not the best; my suggestion is to take it back to Sprint and have it checked. Take your power supply also.
My treo will not charge. I plug it in and the light does a faint fast red light.
I tried another battery and it does not work.
Any suggestions?

Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...
Hopefully this helps someone in the future but I got the phone back to life.
When I got to work this morning for giggles I connected to my computer. The red light came on and was flashing every 30 seconds. Then I took it off the computer usb and plugged it into the wall charger. About 3 minutes later it powered up with 0% battery life.
It is recharging now but I am confussed why it seems to charge better off the PC then the wall charger?
Man we need the extended battery!
Don't know for sure, but could it have something to do with running the battery all the way to zero? I don't think LiIon batteries take kindly to that....

They do not like being run down - also the batteries that came with the first batch of 800w's had issues - mine was replaced and the replacement has done fine. The first one though was a nightmare.

See benjie's post here. There is a problem and an update posted by Palm...

Just installed the update! Thanks!
If anyone else has the issue try plugging it into the usb that worked for me.
Anyone still have charging issues with the USB? I have tried two different USB-12v Car adapters and none of them will initiate enough power to charge my 800w but will power other devices. It is detected up will not bring a green or red light on my Treo, now if plugged direct into my laptop or pc's is charges fine. I ended up installing a 12v-110v invertor and then using my ac charger to power it while traveling since I couldn't figure out what the issue was.
No they are not made by Palm. One I forgot the name of it but is available at wal-mart and has two usb plugs rated at 1amp x 2 ports and the other is a Griffin with no amp rating. So maybe that is the problem.
