800 won't RING! hi guys,
I've noticed lately to be missing alot of calls! What's been happening is that the call is going thru, but the ringer is not actually sounding. This is happening when the top notch is on the sound side (not the vibrate switch).
anyone else experience this?
Have you checked the volume settings on the left side of the device and there is also a registry setting that cures this disease if so inflected in the registry area -
To change or increase Volume
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/
SoundCategories/Ring/AttenuationCategory
Change the Value Data to fit what you need - I started at 5 and worked down.
Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...
last night, i got about 4 calls from this person and i watched em call me, and NOT once did it go through, it just went to voicemail or rang till it went to voice mail, but it never showed once on my end, i just wonder how many calls i have missed now! whats wrong here
Sounds like you could be on a fringe reception area. Do you know how strong a signal you are getting?

it showed I had a lot of signal, but since it has been working better,maybe it was having a bad day lol
im experiencing the same problem... this is boo sh!T
