Good Morning Everyone!
Anybody have a clue on or about when Verizon will be releasing the 800W? My boss is a big fan and is eagerly anticipating this release - any information that you can provide would be very helpful and much appreciated.
Thanks!

Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...
Here is a blurb I just picked up on Mattew Miller's blog 9/18/08 @ www.zdnet.com:
... Palm is hosting a conference call on the results and will probably talk about the continued success of the Centro and the newly released Treo 800w that should be coming soon to Verizon....

Probably end of November...
But what about the Treo PRO... will there be a verizon (CDMA) version of the PRO that will compete against the 800w?
The general consensus was that the 800w was to be nixed in favor of the Treo Pro instead but my previous post seems to contradict this. Quite possible in my opinion, that both devices may well appear before the end of the year, but as closed-mouthed and slow as verizon is, it's anybody's guess at this time.
Nothing new on Verizon and the new Treo?
Verizon seems a bit preoccupied with the BlackBerry Storm right now.
The only thing I have seen recently about a CDMA Pro is that Sprint may be getting it "soon". Rumors, rumors, rumors.
I've seen nothing about an 800w for big red in a long time. Maybe that means it will be out tomorrow?
