    Default 800w volume is to low

    I just got a treo 800w an my volume is low is there any program that i can use to make it louder. I had a treo 755p used volumecare It worked great need something like that for my new phone help me pls....

    There is no application to do what you want. There are registry settings to increase the default ring tone, but as far as volume itself, it is a system thing that lives with the device and was also there with 2 of the other 3 previous WM devices I have had in the past. I just gave up and up the volume manually at the beginning of the call, which is fairly easy due to my extensive use of a Bluetooth headset.

    For notification, not conversation:

    To change or increase Volume
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/
    SoundCategories/Ring/AttenuationCategory

    Change the volume setting to whatever tickles - starting at 5 and float on down.

    hey benjie!! wats the regidtry editor for increasing the volume for when i am playing music off my windows media player on my fone??

    I also face my 800w same problem. I check my registry and all other things which i know little. But please tell me the exact way that how i can treat my PDA.

    what i would like to know is this, the registry hack worked somewhat, but is there not a way to turn the volume of the call up more? Like the other persons voice? if not then i better sell this thing quick lol........

    get tcpmp it has something in the program to increase your volume during movies music etc.
