Camera way to slow

I like the overall idea of the phone but unhappy with the bells and whistles.
The camera takes over a minute to process and new snapshot. Way to slow.
My main problem is that I have a Palm Pilot (Tungsten) and it doesn't seem compatible with the phone. Was hoping that it was the same.
Learning to use the phone does take time but might be worth it if I can speed it up and sync it with what I already have.
Any help will be appreciated.

This is normally an indication of too many applications opens or the device may be in need of a soft reset.

You should check your camera setting. Check your Shot, EV, Banding and scene mode setting.
