Default "failed to send email messages"--message?

hey all, i got this message for 2 weeks now. "failed to send email messages" on my Windows 6 800w. i have several emails setup but my hotmail is my main one. i can get messages from the www but when i SEND and OR REPLY on my 800w, they don't get through. is there a setting i'm missing? i am pretty familiar with my 800w by now so i'm not sure what this can be. hmmm, any suggestions? thanks----FK

Did you get an answer? Apparently being unable to send is an issue. I am going to call Palm I guess.

i just replied to the message i got here. it's not instant but will happen an hour later---or not at all. i also just did a send/recieve on my Palm and it said "message failed to send".
Also---these won't sync on my regular outlook when it's synced up to my PC.

anotherwords, most of the time when i reply to a message on my Palm, it does not get to the intended party. i have to send it from my PC or work PC.

kind've frustating and i need to figure it out. I'll try Palm i guess.:frown:

Another suggestion - if you are not locked in to using Pocket Outlook, take a look at FlexMail. It works.

FlexMail handles IMAP and POP very well. There are settings within the application to automagically set up a number of accounts. Hotmail though is a different story, as it is proprietary. Forwarding mail from your Hotmail account to your Yahoo/GMail account would be a method of working around that.

One thing about the 800W though - it does on occasion loose connection with the data network. When that happens, you have to manually force a poll with whatever application you are using and once in a while, you just gotta exit/restart the application or reboot the device.

On the message failed to send front, I suggest looking at the settings and ensuring you have not changed any of them.
