Hard Reset Question

Hey guys, nice to meet you all. So I just got the messagingapp.exe broken message or whatever, and of course, the only way to fix it is a hard reset. My question is when I do hard reset, will I need to activate the phone again? Like through Sprint or should I be able to make calls immediately?

The device is usable immediately after a hard reset, you will not though have any applications installed in main memory, though those installed on the card may be accessed via File Explorer. You should consider a routine backup plan, routine backups make life much easier in the event of a hard reset or messed up device.
