Default not happy with the sprint treo 800

I have had a treo 700wx and had no problems. Sprint is going to send me my third new 800. I can not get my email to work. The support department even helped me set up a work around for the outgoing server using gmail. I can recieve emails with no problems, but outgoing only works for two or three emails then i get an error. I can delete the account set it backup and again about the second or third email and an error.
Anyone out there, know of a problem witht he email????

Oh and not to mention the poor battery life.

    Frustrated.

The battery should not be an issue if one read the reviews/specs of it; however, it is an issue. The 2600ma battery from Seido is an excellent battery - lots of life with it.

The email problem - I left POutlook and ended up with FlexMail for that reason. You might also consider going to the Palm site and look for WindowsMobile61-KB958639.CAB - it might help you out a bit.

benjie's right. thats a much better battery.

i got the seidio 15% more power battery. (fits in the original case) after 5 or 6 charges, it has improved my battery life to the point of haveing 30% power left over when i go to bed. a 12 hour span of a regular working day. before that with the stock battery, it was warning me to re-charge after 9 or 10 hours. $39 though but worth it not having to worry. This has worked for me:

While in email setup, in the screen that asks for user name and password, enter your complete email address in the username box.

Before I did this, I could receive email, but I could not send email from this account.

    Hope this helps!
