System Tools or Repair Screen problems

I need some help fixing my phone

It seems that whenever I get a text message or a battery alert and I have it off the charger and hit the red end button to turn my screen off, the screen turns white for some reason. And when I hit it again it goes back to my home screen then when I hit it again it turns the screen off.

I've tried to find something, anything, about this problem but It seems like I'm the only one with this problem but if someone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated and save me from destroying this phone.

Thank you in advance.

I betcha it is a driver problem and maybe you are using a non-default type today screen, say something from SPB or whatever? You might consider backing it up, executing a hard reset and seeing what happens.

Thanks, I'll look more into that, first I have to get the USB cord for it because it's unlike any other phone USB I've seen.

Well, you of course need to charge it. As far as using USB to connect with the computer, I use Bluetooth exclusively - never have had a problem doing so. Slower, but bunches easier to fool with.

you can connect the 800w via Bluetooth to a computer? I forgot all about that, it would make things a lot easier then to have to find a USB for it

Yep - Bluetooth with ActiveStynk works great! I sync with it, move files back and forth.

Ive also had this problem. The easiest and quickest way to fix it is to perform a soft reset. Pull the battery and let the phone reset. I refer to this as the phone ghost. Hope this helps

The early releases of QuickMenu were affected by this nasty dude, the current one has no problems with it.
