    Default screen saver lites up?

    Hi all,

    For some reason today my screen saver lights up instead of staying dark, I'm afraid this is going to drain my battery. So i turned the SS off and the blank screen lights up too!

    what gives?

    Happened to me too. I just turned the unit on and then off again and it was OK.

    Just noticed mine lit up with a message icon in addition to the date and time. Maybe it lights up as an alert?
