The famous Pim.vol file
Hi,
i had to replace my phone, but during the replacement process, my computer crashed, hence, i was unable to sync my contacts. at any rate, i had backed up my pim.vol onto my mem card. now comes the challenge of importing pim, replacing, or whatever onto the new phone. anyone have any ideas on how to go about this? it seems that the pim file on the phone is somehow tied to the file, regardless of the name of the file. in fact, you can change the name, and it is still available with contacts. in fact, you can move it somewhere else, and it still is available. help

copying the pim.vol file from backup
Using the File Manager.
Cut the currently used pim.vol file, then paste in the temp directory
Copy the old pim.vol file from your storage card, then paste to the root.
Do a soft reset. That's it.
