There is normally a 3-month lead period with the provider it initially comes out with.
Is verizon gonna offer the 800W and if so what does everyone think

Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...
Didn't Verizon say sometime last year that they were going to start accepting phones from other carriers, kind of like you can have with GSM phones? Would this work with this phone, or would we have to wait until Sprint was willing to unlock it?
before to long verizon will accept any phone from anywhere
Sounds nice, but can you offer something to back that up? A link, a news story, a source, something?
We have all seen and heard stories about rulings that were going to force them to or that they were going to voluntarily allow other devices, but subject to their approval. So far, nothing and I haven't seen anything that even seems to offer hope recently.
Any hard evidence???
I think there are many waiting patiently for this to happen.....

A buddy of mine owns a verizon dealership. he explained how it worked to me. And to be honest i hadn't even heard anything of the sort. no rumors, nada! and he mentioned it to me.
the way he explained it was this. lets say verizon owns signals a,b,c, and d. Everyone else owns e,f,g,h, and i. well the told me that verizon bought up everything that was left J through Z. (btw the alphabet represents the quantity of signal)
in all honesty i don't understand it all. but he's a good friend of mine and knows what he's talking about. so i choose 2 believe. :D
