    Default Voice Dialing

    Hello, upgraded from 650 to 800w, been trying to learn the features,
    I thought I read somewhere the 800W has voice dialing capability. I set up speed dialing I would like to voice dial, I do not have a headset and am not inclined to get one. Is is possible to set up voice dialing on this phone?

    Voice dialing is a function of the headset. You gotta download a file from the Palm site called "Treo800w-VoicedialOverBT.CAB" and install that in order for it to properly work.

    Thank you for the reply. I did download the voice dial update. If I understand this will only work with a headset? What about my car kit? I can dial and receive calls over my Garvin gps system. Connection via bluetooth, I think should be able to voice dial.
    any help would be appreciated

    From my reading, a car kit is considered the same as a Bluetooth headset - though I have not used any car kits.

    I found lots of help in the Help program on the phone:
    start>programs>help>search type in "voice command" for instructions.
    Hope this helps someone.
