Default Youtube not working on my Treo 800

When I click on a video from the Youtube site, Windows Media launches but I get a "unknown error" message that pops up.

Anyone else seeing this or are you able to watch Youtube on your 800?

Yep, same here. m.youtube.com jumps into WMP but then the error pops up. The Flash 7 plug-in does not work on the regular youtube site. I can, however, watch youtube videos with kinoma via StyleTap, but playback is kind of jerky.

You can use coreplayer as your media player. It has built-in YouTube, and works amazingly well. Bad thing is that it isn't free. Alternatively, TCPMP does this well too, but I get an error when loading the app.

I am now able to play YouTube clips on my 800w via this combination of TCPMP and the "FlashVideoBundle", from here.

Yea, I just found a working version with built in flash support a bit ago, I was going to post it here, but I forget where the thread was. DOH!

MemMaid, while not free, is a highly respected one, which I use. It also comes with some performance settings to speed up PIE, and also to refresh memory from programs that may not have unloaded fully.

Get this free player. Works great on the 800w and you don't have to download a bunch of drivers. Let's you watch YouTube, Flikr and other flash video sites.
