how to enter Tab character from keyboard?

Is there a way to enter a Tab character using only the keyboard?

And is there a comprehensive reference anywhere of the options available via the ListType key? I'm a little stunned that the help in the Keyboard application simply says "find more!" as if I had nothing better to do than try all key combinations.

You might want to try Treo Keyboard Utilities.

Also, checkout Handspring for a few handy PDF downloads that assist w/ the keyboard.

Try Shift and the Space bar....found it on the Handspring site. I learn something new everyday with this thing...

Thanks for the replies, I'm much happier now!

Or at least happy enough that I can move on to my next peeve, which is OS X compatibility...
